Chapter 1.
July 2002.
Julia sat in the backstage area with the rest of the band waiting for their turn to play.
Everything was riding on this one concert. Hopefully one of the other bands playing at the Water-festival in Sweden this summer was going to chose them to be their so called warm up band.
Julia hated having to do this, she knew that everybody hated the warm up band,
but she had realized that everybody had to start somewhere.
As she sat there, worrying about being picket out or not, Jenny walked up to her. Jenny was the drummer in their band torch.
-Worried? Jenny asked her
-No, terrified, Julia answered as she bent her head to the side, trying to make Jenny feel sorry for her.
Jenny looked at her in a strange way. -That's not gonna work, I feel the same way. Julia sighed as she turned around to se were the other guy's were. Soon she saw James standing in a corner trying to sweep a girl of her feet.
She looked at Jenny and they started to laugh. James was good with the ladies as he so nicely put it. He had a great body, but his face wasn't as perfect as the rest.
But he was good looking in a strange way. He had personality. As Julia studied him, Jenny was looking in the other direction. She was trying to find the fourth and last member of the band, Daniel.
He was the bass player, and the one who always were happy. Jenny waved at him and he made his way through the people laughing. He gently hit Julia on the shoulder, -Daydreaming, are we?. Julia snapped out of her trance and looked over at Daniel. She had always sine a resemblance of the lead singer in Smash Mouth, in him. They were identical, even tough Daniel were only 19, and he was about 30 ore something?.
Daniel pushed her again and looked strangely at her -Oh, sorry Julia said, realizing that she had been staring.
-Oh shit, were on in 5 minutes. Jenny screamed, Daniel looked over at were James was standing and yelled something that made James look up and he started to walk towards them.
When the concert was over they all gathered in a small room waiting for their manager.
When she, Sara, walked in she smiled and took a seat in the sofa they were all sitting in.
She opened her briefcase and pulled out a few papers.
-Everybody loved you she said not really looking at any one of them.
-You have a few offers, but only one for a US tour she said knowing that they all wanted to go to the states.
-Ok, and the nominees are? James said trying to sound as if he were on the MTV music awards.
-Hmm, lets see, the first offer's from the Cardigans. But it was only for a few weeks, when their first band-choice couldn´t make it. The second is from a band in Israel called mushikkas, she said almost laughing at the thought of them playing with some strange band on the streets of Bethlehem.
And last but not least, the US tour, with Hanson. A band from Tulsa Ok. You might have herd of them. You know MmmBop.
-Yeah we've herd of them, but do you really think our music has any resemblance to their? Julia asked.
-Yeah, I think so. Their new album has a lot more rock in it then their first one Sara said.
I really think this could be a great opportunity for you guys.
Jenny looked around, she knew it would be a great opportunity, just as Sara said. But she didn't want to be hated by a million jealous girls. She looked at the others again. At least two of them seemed very happy. Then she looked at Julia, she could se in her eyes that she was thinking the same thing.
-This could be a great chance to meet girls James said with a huge grin on his face.
Daniel didn't look that unhappy either.
After a few hours of negotiating, they made their decision. Hanson it was.
Julia gathered up her things and followed Jenny into their dressing room. They packed up and headed to the hotel for the after party.
Chapter 2.
Julia sat in front of the mirror in her hotel room, as she studied her self.
Her shoulder long, blond hair was a mess. She had tried everything, but nothing she did made it look good. After a while of doing this and that, she decided to put it up in a ponytail. She framed her blue eyes with a black eyeliner and put some mascara on.
She let her arms fall down in her lap and studied herself again.
She wished she looked more like Jenny, her dirty blond hair had waves in it. She had always wanted wavy hair. Instead hers was as straight as it could be.
She left her seat and walked over to her bags, she hadn't had the energy to unpack since they were only staying a few days.
She took out a black skirt and a black clash top and put it on.
Just as she finished Jenny knocked on her door and entered the room.
She was also wearing a black skirt, but a purple long sleeved top.
-Nice Jenny said.
-Not as nice as you though Julia said smiling.
-I know, Im perfect Jenny said in an Barbie voice and laughed. -So, are you ready to go? -Yup.
They were supposed to meet Hanson at this party. But they didnt know were ore when.
As they entered the huge room that was set up to hold the party they looked around. There must have been about 500 people there. Most of them girl with VIP-passes hanging from their shirts. -contest winners Julia said and smiled.
She turned around to se Jenny running of towards Daniel who was sitting in the bar.
She joined them and they all ordered a drink.
Jenny was extremely happy about being able to order something from a bar.
She had just turned 18, witch is the legal drinking age in Sweden.
She was going nuts over what to order and the bartender seemed a little annoyed at her.
-You should try the San Francisco a voice said behind her.
She turned around to see who was talking to her.
-Hi, Im Taylor Hanson The guy said offering his hand.
-Hi, Im Jenny. And I think I will try it She said.
The guy looked over her shoulder and smiled towards Julia. He had never seen a more beautiful girl. Julia smiled back at him.
-So, I guess we'll be going on tour together Julia said and shook his hand.
-I guess we will Taylor said and extended his hand to Daniel who shook it.
-Nice to meet you, Im Daniel He said in bad English. Taylor smiled -you too.
Then Julia noticed the rest of his brothers and smiled at them. They all shook hands and decided to take a table in the corner by the bar.
-I thought there were four of you? Zac said.
-There is, but I guess he's of with some girl somewhere Julia said realizing she had sounded a little to annoyed.
-Oh, I see Zac said smiling at his brothers.
The conversation went along and they all started to get to know one another.
They we're all laughing at some stupid joke when James walked up to the table with a very drunk girl hanging on to him.
-What did I miss? James asked and shook hands with the guys.
-I guess your Hanson? He said sounding very polite,,,,,, and very drunk.
-yeah, we are, and I guess your James Taylor said smiling towards the girl.
-I see they've told you about me, only good things I hope?
-There are no good things about you James Julia said smiling, very happy about her smart remark. Then she looked at the girl -Im Julia, and this is Jenny, Daniel, Taylor, Zac and Isaac, why dont you guys have a seat. The girl accepted and sat down in James lap. Julia noticed her VIP-card and asked -I see you won an competition, witch one?
-Oh, the Hanson one she said and giggled something into James ear.
-Then you've come to the right place Isaac said and smiled at her.
She realized who they were and started screaming. Taylor and Zac looked down at the table blushing when they realized everybody was looking at them. Isaac just laughed and told her to calm down, witch she did and they started to talk, she got their autographs and took some pictures, then James whispered something into her ear and they left.
Jenny laughed when she saw the look in James eyes as they left.
-I think someone is gonna get lucky tonight Daniel said in a jealous voice witch made them all laugh. Taylor looked over at Julia, she and Jenny was talking about something in Swedish, so he couldnt understand what she was saying. But he really liked the sound of her voice. He had seen her earlier that day, at the concert. And he immediately felt that he wanted to see her again, and the fact that his brothers had suggested them as their warm-up band couldnt have made him more happy.
Julia could feel Taylor's eyes on her. She always felt unconformable when someone looked at her, it always made her turn to Jenny and talk about something stupid, witch always made Jenny laugh at her.
Jenny knew her too well.
Soon the Hanson's had to leave to take care about some of the other contest winners.
Jenny and Julia left Daniel at the table and went up to their rooms to sleep.
Chapter 3.
-She was cute Taylor said to his brothers later that night, still at the party.
-Julia?, ore Jenny? Isaac asked.
-Or was it Daniel? Zac laughed hitting his brother over the head.
-Julia, but she didnt seem to interested though
-You never know Isaac said -You never know.
Daniel spotted them over the room and made his way towards them, said Hi and took a seat next to Zac. I've seemed to loose everybody he said sighing.
-Well, lucky you found us Zac said -So, is Julia seeing anybody?
-Aren't you a little to young for her? Daniel asked.
-Maybe Im not the one who's interested, maybe Taylor is
Taylor blushed, but he was glad Zac had asked.
Daniel eyed him -No she isn't, but you hardly know her
-I just think she's cute, thats all Taylor said.
-Well, she is, but if you want to know if she's interested you better ask Jenny. She knows her better than anybody, even better than Julia I think Daniel said -So are we drinking anything or aren't we?Daniel said wanting to change to subject, he knew Julia hated went people were talking about her behind her back.
Julia couldn't sleep, she never could. She had gotten some pills from the Dr, for her insomnia, but she didnt feel like taking any of them. Sleep should be something that came naturally. She walked over to the door that connected her room with Jennys and opened it. Jenny was sleeping, Julia coughed as high as she could, but Jenny was sill sleeping. She coughed again. Nothing. She gave up and hit Jenny with a pillow. -Ahhhh, what do you want Jenny said, not opening her eyes. Julia knew Jenny could kill the one who woke her up. -I couldnt sleep Julia said throwing herself in Jenny bed, -can we talk? Jenny sighed -about what?, I was sleeping here you know -I dont know, about anything, Im bored, were leaving tomorrow arent we?
-Yeah, and you already know that By this point Jenny was as awake as she could be and knew she wasnt gonna get any more sleep this night. -I saw Taylor looking at you tonight
-oh, was he, I didnt notice Julia lied.
-Yeah right, you noticed, otherwise you wouldnt have asked me what day it was Jenny laughed. -Dont lie to me, I know you too well.
-Ok, so I noticed, big deal, I bet he was daydreaming or something and didnt know what he was looking at
-Daydreaming about you that is, he knew very well what he was looking at, go for him. He's cute Jenny said.
-Like I'd have a chance, there most be a million girls better looking than me that would give there right hand for him Julia said, admitting that the thought had crossed her mind. And with that she was asleep. Jenny sighed and took her pillow and left to Julias room.
The next morning after they all had pecked their things, and repacked it, making sure they hadnt forgotten anything. And in Julias case, repacked everything again, they left for the lobby.
After waiting there half an hour, James were as pissed as he could be.
He hated waiting, they all did, but not as strongly as James. He was counting all the things he could have done when the Hansons finally showed up.
-Sorry. Taylor said looking at Julia. She smiled and could feel her self blushing a little.
They left in two mini-vans to the airport. -Finally we.re on our way to America Julia said to James, ha screamed and lit a cigarette. -You shouldnt do that Julia said and took the cigarette from him and started to smoke it herself, the she put it out. Its not good for you she smiled. James returned the smile and looked out the window.
When they arrived to the airport they we're running a little late, so they got to board the plane immediately.
-Witch seat are you in? Taylor asked Julia. -124 she answered. -Really, then Im next to you..
Taylor walked over to Isaac -We need to change seats he said.
-I dont think so I've got a window seat.
-Please, please, please, I want to sit next to Julia, I promise to do your laundry for a week. Taylor gave his brother puppy eyes. -When you put it that way, promise?
-Yeah yeah, just give me the ticket.
Julia took her seat, with jenny to her right. -Taylor sitting next to us she said and smiled. -I knew it, It must be faith Jenny said sarcastically.
-Bye, bye Sweden, hope to never see you again Julia screamed as the plane took of.
Taylor looked over at her “You dont like it here?, Ive always found it quite nice
-Well It's ok sometimes, but this country is booooring Julia laughed.
-Julia!!!, I know somebody whos interested in you Daniel shouted making eye contact with Taylor. Oh no, not now he thought.
Oh really, who? Julia asked curiously.
Taylor gave Daniel an angry look, and he just continued smiling at him.
Oh, nobody he said. -Fine, be that way, but you Im gonna make you tell me in one way or the other Julia said, now even more quires.
Taylor sighed in relief and continued his conversation with Julia.
Before they knew it the plan had landed.
Julia was in chock, he had never had one of those conversations that made the outside world disappear before. He was really a listener, even thug she hadnt said anything that interesting. Most people she knew just waited for their turn to talk.
She started to gather her things while Taylor just sat there looking at her.
He really started to like her.
Chapter 4.
A few days and concerts later they celebrated James's birthday, he was turning 20.
Making him a year older than Julia and Daniel, two years older then Jenny.
They we're at the hotel having a small party, everybody in the band was there, including Isaac, Taylor, Zac and some girl James had picked up earlier. Julia started to get a little to drunk and had to go to the bathroom, she needed to think. Taylor had been looking at her the entire night, at the beginning he had been a little distant, but the more he drank the more flirtatious he got, Julia being the exact same way.
She started to walk towards the bathroom and met Taylor on the way, as he tried to walk past her in the narrow hallway he turned to the left, and Julia did the same thing, then to the right, Julia followed, they continued this for a while, then started to laugh.
Julia knew she wasnt gonna be able to get past him so she put her hand on his hips and pushed him backwards, that made Taylor laugh even harder and grabbed her shoulders and pulled her with him, they started resettling a little, thumbing into Taylors room.
His bed hit her in the knees and she fell on her back, dragging Taylor with her.
When they realized they were on the bed they both stopped laughing. Julia started to get up but Taylor pulled her back and looked her in the eyes. She got lost in his gaze.
He bent down and kissed her, after a while he depend the kiss. Julia put her arms around his waist pulling him closer to her, his body felt electric.
Taylor put his arm on her stomach and lifted her shirt a little, realizing she had her bellybutton pierced. Julia was numb, comfortably numb. No word were needed.
Taylor moved his head to her neck and started to kiss it.
Before they could realize it, they were asleep.
The next morning Julia woke up early, when she saw Taylor laying next to her and she remembered what had happened the night before.
-Shit, it wasnt supposed to happen like this, not drunk she thought lifting Taylors arm from her waist and walked to her and Jennys room, trying not to wake Taylor.
As she opened the door Jenny was sleeping. -Good she thought and slipped into her bed and fell asleep again.
Taylor woke up. Somebody was knocking at his door.
He looked down and saw that his clothes were still on. -Strange, since when do I sleep with my clothes on?
-Julia he said out loud. Were was she. She couldnt have left. Ha made his way to the door. It was Zac.
-Are you ready soon, we have that interview in 15 minutes Zac said.
Taylor striated his shirt and said. -Been waiting for you about 50 min
Later that day.
Julia was sitting in a uncomfortable arm chair. Their first television interview.
She didnt know were to put her hands, she glanced over at Jenny sitting comfortable in the chair next to her. Why didnt she get nervous? James, as usual, were flirting with a girl in the audience. That made Julia think about Taylor, she wondered what he was thinking right now. Did he hate her for leaving? Or maybe he was happy?. Maybe he wasnt interested in her and just used her? Or, maybe he wished it never happened, maybe he found her disgusting. Ohhh, it was driving her crazy.
She really needed to focus at this interview.
-Julia, did you here me? the reporter asked. Jenny pinched her arm.
-Do you have a boyfriend, or do you find it difficult being in an relationship now that your on tour and everything?
-Um, Julia said. I...no.. I dont think so. I mean.. Um .NO!
-Ok, so your not sure, feel to explain? the reporter asked again
-Um, no. Not really she answered.
The reporter turned to James.
-How about you, are you in the same situation as Julia?, I bet theres many girls out there wanting to be your girlfriend.
James gave her one of his famous smiles and said, looking at the girl he had been flirting with. -Not at this moment, but I hope I'll have by the end of the night
That made Julia lighten up and the rest of the interview went great.
Chapter 5.
Taylor had seen the interview with his brothers, Isaac laughed so hard at Jamess comment -That boys crazy He said looking over at Taylor.
-Yeah, how does he do it
-Ohhh, Ive heard your not so bad yourself, feel to talk about what you and Julia did last night? Zac asked with a huge grin on his face.
-You know?, How? Taylor asked.
-Well Isaac said. -The walls in this hotel aint that big, you can hear just about everything. And see everything, especially when you forget to close the door
-Oh, Taylor said -So what do you think I should do?
Well, if you like her, and you do. Maybe you should talk to her when they get back Isaac said.
-But, what if she doesnt feel the same way?
-Theres only one way to find out
After the interview as band went down one of the narrow hallways in the TV-house James phone rang, he stopped and waved for the others to keep walking, I'll catch up with you in a minute he whispered and answered the phone.
Julia and the others went trough one of the doors leading them to their dressing room.
After a few minutes James joined them.
-I have to go back to Sweden he said with a sad voice.
-Why? Somethings wrong, isnt it? Jenny asked.
-Yeah, its my father, hes in the hospital for alcohol-poisoning
James father was an alcoholic, he had been for as long as Julia could remember.
And she knew this could be serious, she tried to imagine how James was feeling, but she couldnt. So instead she kept quiet in the background letting the others ask the questions.
-Is it serious Daniel asked, also knowing the situation.
-It might be, I dont know. But I hope you understand that I have to leave?
-Yeah, we understand, and we're coming with you, at least I am Julia said, now feeling ready to join the conversation.
-Thanks, you dont have to, but it would have been nice to have someone there with me. James said and smiled at her.
Jenny and Daniel agreed to stay behind and handle all the other stuff, and Julia and James left immediately for the airport.
Jenny was worried that they would be forced to quit the tour, after all the hard work they had put in to the hole thing. She took a deep breath, looked over at Daniel and opened the door to their mangers office.
They explained the situation and Sara understood.
-I think it would be best if you talk to the Hansons yourselves, it might make the opportunity to continue the tour bigger Sara said.
And with that they were off again, this time heading towards the hotel.
Taylor was sitting in his room waiting for Julia to come back. As he heard a soft knock on the door his heart skipped a beat. Suddenly he was nervous.
To his surprise it was jenny, not Julia at the door.
-Hi Jenny said -Is your brothers here? We need to talk to all of you
-Yeah, wait a minute and I'll go get them Taylor said, already on the way.
A few seconds later they all sat on Taylors bed, Jenny broke the silence.
-James and Julia has flown back to Sweden
-What? Taylor said -Why? When? Is it because,,,, you know he said looking at Jenny.
Jenny didnt know what he was talking about, Julia hadnt told her.
She continued: -Because James father was in the hospital, Julia didnt want him to be alone so she followed him. And now to why we came here to talk to you. Now that Julia and James isnt here, and we dont know how long they will be. But to the point.
We understand if you want us to quit the tour, I have taken the opportunity to make a list of other great Swedish band, and all of them is available and waiting for your call.
Isaac, Taylor and Zac looked at etch other and said -I guess its possible to take a little break, and wait until they get back, we really want you with us on this tour. So dont think we're going to call someone else
-Great, Jenny said -Now I'll call Julia and give her the good news, she was a little worried about the whole thing. Now when I think about it, she seemed a little out of if all day. I wonder whats wrong this time, has she said anything to you guys?
No one said anything and Jenny took that as a No and left the room.
Chapter 6.
Taylor was sitting in his hotel room alone, thinking.
-Why is it that she always goes were ever James goes?, there always together, like there connected at the hip ore something?. Its not natural, and Ive seen the way he looks at her, and the way he always whispers something to her, getting disgustingly close.
I bet hes hot on her, he wouldnt mind getting her into the sack. She doesnt seem so unwilling either. And now shes gone of with him to Sweden, something is bound to happen.
-Love troubles? Jenny said. Taylor had been so deep into his own thoughts that he hadnt noticed Jenny entering the room.
-NO!,,, well, maybe. I dont know
-Oh, I can see you dont want to talk about it, I was just wondering if you wanted to join me and Daniel in the bar, your brothers doesnt feel up to it.
-Yeah, a drink wouldnt feel so bad right now, I'll be down in a second
Jenny and Daniel was waiting in the lobby when Taylor came down the stairs. They stopped a cab and stepped inside. Jenny was in the middle with Taylor to her right, and Daniel to her left.
-How's it going with Julia? Daniel asked Taylor.
-Its not going at all he said, thinking that Jenny knew.
-JULIA?, like in our Julia? She said.
-You didnt know? Daniel asked -Guess where Julia slept last night?, in no other than Taylors bed
-Yeah, so what Taylor said -Its not like it meant something to her, and now shes of somewhere with James
-Hey, dont talk about Julia like she was some whore sleeping around with everybody Jenny said. She and Julia was very defensive about the other.
-We didnt sleep together, we just. You know Taylor said -But I wouldnt be surprised if thats what shes doing with James right now
-Just shut up ok, before you say something you might regret Daniel said.
-Yeah, shut up, or I'll kick your fucking balls in Jenny said, very angry at this point.
-I should have known you would defend her, whores stick together. Right? Taylor said, stopping the cab and slammed the door shut after him.
Chapter 7.
A week later.
Julia and James arrived at the air port. Both very jetlagged and tired.
-Im glad everything worked out ok. Now everything is back to normal Julia said looking over her shoulder at James.
-Yeah, everything except for you and this Taylor thing, I bet hes back at the hotel waiting for you with open arms James laughed.
As they arrived to the hotel they went straight to their rooms to take a shower.
When Julia was finished she put on her black pants and a black T-shirt with a baby blue long-sleeved sweater over it.
She went over to Jennys room to say hello, but no one was there so she continued down to the bar. There she found everyone. But something was a little strange, Jenny and Daniel were sitting at one table at the end of the bar, and Taylor, Zac and Isaac was sitting just in front of her.
-Hi, hows everything?
No one answered.
-Is something wrong?
Taylor gave her a cold look and Isaac said:
-Everything is fine, YOUR friends are at that table
He pointed over to Jenny and Daniel.
-Ok Julia said a bit confused. Then James entered the room.
He went over to were Julia was standing.
-Hi guys, something new?
-No Taylor said, -take your girlfriend and leave
-What are you talking about? James asked equally confused as Julia.
-Just leave ok Taylor said again.
James shook his head and grabbed Julia by her arm and dragged her to were Jenny and Daniel were sitting.
-He was just using you Julia, that creep was just using you, and he accused you to be a whore jenny almost shouted, loud enough for Taylor to hear.
Julia sat down on a chair in anger, she didnt know what to do. She couldnt just run out of there in tears, then he'd know she cared for him. And he wasnt gonna let that happen after he'd called her a whore.
Taylor saw the look in her eyes and he knew he had hurt her. But he didnt know what to do. He convinced himself that she'd with James also, no matter what Jenny had said.
Julia decided she wasnt gonna care about him, or anything ells for that matter, anymore. To hell with him, and to hell with his brothers. They werent here to argue, they were here to work. And she wasnt going to let Taylor get in the way of her career, not after the thing he had said. -To hell with everything she said and started walking out of the room, as she passed Taylor she held her head higher then she usually did. Making a point out of not caring
As soon she had left the room she ran out of the hotel to the closest payphone and dialed a well know number.
-Hello a voice answered at the other end.
-Hi, its me, can I come over? Julia sobbed.
-Come over? Arent you on a tour or something?
-Yeah, Im in Washington right now, I was going to call you but JamessfatherhadalcoholpoisoningandwehadtoleavforSwedenagain she blurted out.
-What??, no wait never mind, I think I got it the voice said I'll come get you, are you at the hotel?
-Yeah, outside, just come get me ok?
Julia was laying on the bed in a beautiful apartment, high sealing, white walls, nice furnitures, she felt allot stronger now, who gave a damn about that boy. He could sit in that stupid bar with his stupid brother, and sip his stupid beer. Fuck him.
-Are you staying the night? her brother asked, he was also a musician, his newest album had been on the market for three weeks and already sold 30 000 copies. He had moved to Washington five months ago, and Julia had only been there once before.
-Yeah, I think I am, Is that ok?
-Yeah, if you get your fat as out of my bed it is, I'm taking a shower.
Julia laughed, she had missed her brother, he could always making her laugh, what ever situation. -Ok, I'll just borrow your phone, then I'll go to bed. Early gig tomorrow. Then Im leaving for NY
She walked over to the phone and dialed Jennys number.
-Hi, Its me, Im staying at my brothers house tonight, just so you know.
-Are you ok?,,,, look, maybe I overreacted when I said those things. He looked really sad when you left.
-He called me a whore, right? You cant overreact about that. Obviously he didnt care about me, and we we're drunk. I guess he made a mistake, and now hes blaming me for it. Fuck him.
-Ok, but he was kind of upset when he said it, and I guess it was mostly directed to me, I'll go ask him or something. Jenny said.
-No, dont do that But it was to late, jenny had already hung up the phone.
-Shit Julia said out loud, now he was going to think she was sobbing over him, and sent Jenny to find out if he really meant what he said.
Chapter 8.
-hey, Taylor. Can I talk to you for a minute? Jenny asked.
-Look, Im sorry for what I said about you and Julia, I was way out of line. I was just hurt thats all, I thought she liked me as much as I liked her. He said softly, he wasnt in the mood for arguing again.
-Ok, but how do you know she doesnt like you? Have you talked to her? No!! You havent. And Im sorry to, I overreacted. Jenny said -Shes at her brothers house right now, in case you wanted to know she smiled. Taylor smiled back.
-Can I have the address, I think I need to talk to her.
Julia had borrowed an old Nirvana T-shirt of her brother and was sleeping on an mattress on the floor, when Taylor knocked at the door.
Julias brother opened it.
-Oh my god, Your Johnny from caution arent you? I must have the wrong door, Im so sorry, and by the way. Im a big fanâ Taylor said.
Johnny closed the door again, stupid kid, he thought, then it hit him, he ran back to the door.
-Hey man, arent you Taylor Hanson?
-Yeah I am. And again, Im so sorry Taylor said as he continued down the hall looking for the right door.
-No, wait, if your looking for Julia shes here. Im her brother Johnny laughed.
-You are? She never said anything.
-I know, she never does, she says she wants to make it on her own, and not become cautions little sister or something like that Johnny said, still laughing. Shes in there, sleeping. Tell her I went out for a while. Ok?
-Ok, thanks Taylor said.
He opened the door to were Julia were sleeping, he knelt down and sat on the edge of her mattress, he gently touched her face. She opened her eyes and starred straight into his. He smiled and stroke the hair from her face, and kissed her on her forehead. She smiled and lifted up her blanket so he could crawl under it. He put his arms around her and just held her for a long wile.
Then something clicked inside of Julias head.
-What the fuck are you doing? Did you feel a little horny and thought that your little whore would fuck you?. God.. get the hell out of here Taylor
-What? I didnt come here to fuck you, I came here to get you back He said a little choked.
-Get me back? You never had me Julia shouted, regretting it the same second it left her mouth. Taylor felt crushed, how could this shy little girl turn into such a bitch. -Fuck this He said and stood up.
-Oh, thats wrong baby, you arent gonna fuck anything Julia shouted after him as he slammed the door after him.
Chapter 9.
The next morning.
Julia got up early, she took a shower, put on some clean clothes she borrowed from her brother. She had to get back to the hotel so she could pack before they left. Thank god they werent on the same bus as Taylor and his brothers.
They were going on the rest of the tour by buss. 3 months left Julia sighed as she walked out the door. -Hey, will I see you in LA? her brother asked her. -Yeah, I'll see yo she said as she closed the door.
Jenny, Daniel and James had worked everything out with Isaac and Zac, and they were friends again. Jenny and Isaac sat in the lounge and talked when Julia came through the door. Isaac looked up at her -Hey, Im sorry for acting like a big jerk, it'll never happen again He said.
-Im glad, I guess Im sorry to. I dont know what for, but Im sorry Julia said and laughed. Isaac got up and hugged her. In the same second Taylor walked in.
-Is what I see possible? She can be nice, praise the lord He said looking at Julia. She didnt say anything. Maybe it was her fault things got like they did last night, maybe it was his?. She hadnt the energy to bother about it anymore.
But she still had feelings for him. And she hated it.
Taylor saw a single tear falling from Julias eye -Look he started, but Julia just ran away from them, up to her room.
Jenny looked over at Taylor and gave him a cold look.
-Hey man, was that really necessary?
-No, it wasnt Taylor said and sat down next to jenny.
-I just dont know what to do. Everything was going great last night, and suddenly she turned cold. She told me to get the hell out of there and something about me being horny and just using her cause I thought she was a whore, ore something like that.
-well, I think you really hurt her, ore maybe it was me that hurt her. I overreacted when I told her what you said. Jenny said.
-Im sorry if Ive destroyed everything with you guys, I shouldnt have said anything to her
-No, dont worry about it, Its my fault. I'll talk to her later, I just have to come up with something to say first Taylor said and started to walk up to his room to pack.
-Finally were on the road, I thought we never would finish packing James said
The rest of the band agreed.
They had a few hours until they had to get ready for the next show, so they were sitting in their beds watching the little TV that was built into the wall.
-That TV is really ugly Jenny said looking at Julia. -Yeah she answered.
-Hey, cheer up a little, everything will work out ok between you and Taylor
-I just wish everything never happened and we could meet again today for the first time. I would do everything different Julia sighed
James got up and sat on her bed. -Hey, incase it doesnt work out, you'll still have me -everybodys got you James Julia joked. -Ah, finally shes back. Ive missed this little hate/love thing weve had going James smiled.
And a few minutes later everything was back to normal, at least for a while.
The bus stopped. ShowTime!
Taylor and Zac was siting on one of the seats in their tour bus.
-So, are you going to talk to her? Zac asked -You guys havent had it easy
-No kidding, sometimes I just feel like I want to give everything up, but I still like her. Shes like a drug, even though we fight all the time, I dont want to spend a minute away from her. I hope she feels the same way Taylor said.
Zac stood up, looked over at Taylor with puppy eyes and left.
He walked over to Julias bus.
-Hey guys, whats up he asked as he walked in -Julia can I talk to you for a minute?
-Yeah sure, just give me a minute Julia had just finished getting her makeup put on by one of the makeup artists. She just had to get her clothes for the concert on.
Zac walked outside and found a park bench witch he sat on while he waited.
A few minutes later Julia joined him.
-Whats up? She asked
-Oh, I just wanted to talk to you about Taylor thats all. You dont mind do you? Zac said.
-No I dont mind, did he ask you to come talk to me? Julia asked a little confused.
-No, he doesnt know Im here. But heres the thing. Hes sorry for all the things hes said I just talked to him and he said he cant stand a minute without you. I think he really likes you Julia. So, please. If you dont like him, just tell him. Cause this is driving both him and us crazy. You know, hes a real pain in the butt when hes like this.
-Oh was all Julia could get out. She had no idea he felt that way.
-So, do you? Zac asked.
-Uhm, I think I do. Should I talk to him?
-I think you should, hes in the bus. Alone. Isaacs not there.
Julia stood up and walked towards the bus. Then she suddenly stopped and turned around and looked at Zac.
-Oh shit, I dont know what to say
-Just say how you feel, youll be fine Zac said laughing.
Chapter 10.
Julia knocked at the door.
-Come in a voice shouted.
She opened the door and as soon as she got in she noticed how great their bus were compared to theirs. Then she noticed Taylor sitting in one of the seats.
-Hey she said softly.
-Hey he answered. She walked over to him and sat at the seat next to him.
-So, what are you doing?
-Just thinking he answered.
-Ok, here goes nothing. Julia said.
-What? he laughed.
-Look, I know we arent the best of friends right now. But I would really like for that to change. Cause, no matter what Ive said, I really like you. And… Im sorry if Ive hurt you in any way. She blurted out as fast as she could so it would be over faster.
-You like me. Like what, a friend? Ore something more? He asked looking straight into her eyes.
-Something more she whispered
-I like you to. He whispered as quietly as her.
Julia smiled. She hadnt thought about what she was going to do next.
So they just sat their for a while looking at each other.
-Is it ok if I kiss you? Taylor asked and blushed a little.
-I guess it would be Ok she laughed.
Taylor moved closer to her and put one of his hands on the back of her neck and the other on her hip and kissed her. After a while when the kisses had gotten a little deeper Julia moved up on his lap, putting one legs on each side of him. Taylor moved his hands around her waist and pulled her closer to him. They continued kissing like that for a while and the Isaac came in.
Not noticing Taylor and Julia he said.
-Sheer up Taylor, she likes you. I know she does
-I guess she does Taylor said laughing and not taking his eyes of Julia.
She also started to laugh, and that made Isaac look over at them.
-Oh, Im sorry He said blushing -I'll leave
-No, dont worry about it, I have to leave anyway, the show you know. Julia said and stood up and straightened her clothes. Taylor followed her to the door and they kissed again before she walked over to her bus to gather up her things and head over to the stage to set up.
-So, I guess I missed something? Isaac said with a huge smile on his face.
-My little brother finally got his shit together and straitened things out, Im proud of you man.
-Well, it was actually Julia who made the first step this time. So dont be to proud Taylor said with a silly smile on his face.
-We better get ready if we want to se them play Isaac said laughing
-Wouldnt miss it for the world Taylor said as he went over to the bathroom to take a shower.
Julia sat behind the stage when James entered the room. -I heard you guys worked things out
-Yep was the only answer Julia could think of.
-So, can I get some inside information or what? James said walking over to her picking up one of her eyeliners. -I think Im going to try some of this if you dont mind?
-Your wearing makeup now?, since when
-You know Hansons new stage manager, Laura, she wont even notice me. So I figured Id try a new image. What do you think? He said and looked at Julia.
-Looks great, I havent met her yet, is she nice?, I didnt even know they had a new one. What happened to the old one? Julia asked.
-Oh, I dont know. And yes, she is very nice, and pretty to, youll see her tonight
Chapter 11.
-Can I hear you scream the speaker voice shouted as Julia and the rest of the band were waiting behind the stage.
The audience screamed at the to of their lungs.
-From Sweden in Europe, here to perform for you tonight we have TORCH.
They walked out on stage and took their places.
The rest of the show went great, to bad they only had the time to do 4 songs before it was over.
They went to the backstage area to have a few drinks while Hanson were performing. After an hour they walked through the door with a few girls and a guy with backstage passes. Taylor took a seat in the sofa opposite from were Julia were sitting and all the girls gathered around him. Julia knew she was just being silly, but she was jealous of the girls. Jenny could see what she was thinking and gave her a comforting smile and offered her what was left of her drink. Julia gladly excepted, after she finished the drink she was feeling better. Jenny started a discussion about whether God was a male or a female and soon James, Daniel and Julia was in on it. Julia and Jenny knew that she was a female, and James and Daniel thought she was a man. Then the discussion took a weird turn. Did god have sex with someone when she made mankind, since she did make us after her image, cause the only way to create a new person is with sperms and eggs. Or did she create us with her hands, out of clay or something? They all agreed to not talk about that anymore and moved on to the next topic witch were Maiden or AC/DC. Since they were talking in Swedish none of the others in the room could understand what they were saying.
Taylor looked at Julia and smiled. She smiled back -what? she asked.
-Oh, nothing he said and continued to look at her.
-Taylor do you have a girlfriend? one of the girls asked.
Both Julia and Taylor stopped smiling, they hadnt talked about this. Taylor could loose a few fans if he said yes.
They continued to look at each other, -No I dont he said not taking his eyes of Julia.
Julia stood up and left.
-excuse me a minute Taylor said and went after her.
He caught up with her outside her bus.
-Hey, you know I had to say no, but that doesnt mean I meant it.
He said as he put his arms around her.
-I know Julia said -I just didnt like that girl, what business is it of hers?
-Your jealous, arent you? Taylor said and laughed
-No, Im not
-Yeah, you are, admit it
-So, what if I am, there all over you
-Awhh, your so cute he said and kissed her.
-I have to get back, will you wait for me? he asked and kissed her on her forehead.
-Yeah, but hurry she giggled.
He kissed her once again and left.
Chapter 12.
Julia sat in their bus waiting and waiting. What took him so long.
Soon, Jenny walked through the door.
-Is he finished? she asked.
-Yeah, he'll be right over. Im going over to their bus so you guys can have some privacy, James and Daniels already there. Ok?
-Ok, you dont have to if you dont want to, you know that. Right? said Julia.
-Yeah I know, but I want to. We're going to teach them some Swedish. Jenny laughed and left again.
A few minutes later Taylor knocked on the door.
-Come in Julia shouted.
-Hey, whats going on? Taylor asked
-Oh, nothing, just waiting
-for what? he said smiling.
He sat down next to her and put his arms around her.
-A really good looking guy, thats all. You didnt see him did you?
-No, must have missed him. Will I do? He said and kissed her.
-Hmm, for now maybe Julia said and kissed him back.
They continued to kiss, Taylor laid down on his back and Julia followed, there kisses got deeper and deeper. Julia started to kiss hiss neck while she pulled his T-shirt off, and continued down his chest. Taylor put his hands under her shirt and pulled it off. -Maybe we should continue this in there? Julia said and pointed at the bedrooms.
-Are you sure? Taylor asked
-If you are? Julia said and walked over to her bed.
Be right there he said and went over to the door and locked it.
Dont worry about that, Jenny said she was going to teach them Swedish, they wont be back till late. Knowing Jennys teaching skill that is Julia said and sat on the bed.

Julia had never been happier, everything was perfect. Their band was getting big, bigger than she ever had expected and she was in the beginning of a relationship with a wonderful guy. She snapped out of her dream and continued to focus on Taylor, who was desperately trying to get her pants of.
She laughed and helped him to get them of. She swirled them around and now she was on top off him, kissing his shoulders. Taylor took his pants of and mumbled something about condoms. -what? Julia asked
-I forgot to bring a condom

Taylor got up and looked through her suitcase and returned with one in his hand.

-Right here he said and laid upon her continued to kiss her.

Chapter 13.
They woke up by a knock on the door. -Are you guys in there? Is it safe to come in? It was James.
-Just a sec Julia yelled as she started to search for her clothes

-Same here Julia said, James is gonna have a great time with this.
They finished getting dressed and Taylor took a seat in the sofa and turned the TV on when Julia went over to the door and opened it.
-Hi. she said and went over to Taylor and took a seat.
James stood in the doorway for a while and looked at them -what have you guys been up to all this time he said and smiled.
-Oh, nothing Julia said and looked over Taylor.
-So, why are your shirt put on backwards Julia, and Taylor, why are your pants not zipped?
Both Julia and Taylor started to laugh, -If you tell anyone I'll kill you Julia said with a smile.
Don't worry I wont. Maybe Jenny, Daniel, Zac and Ike. But I swear thats the only ones. Julia sighed and cuddled up with Taylor. -I guess we've been caught she said and laughed.
-So, if you guys want to have a threesome, you know Im in. James said.
-Man, your sick Taylor said laughing.
-Im kidding, Im kidding. James said and switched the channel on the TV.
Julia fell asleep on Taylors shoulder, and didnt wake up until Jenny entered the room. -God, that kids impossible to teach, Im going to bed and dont wake me until we're leaving tomorrow

You could at least give me your address he said in a more angry tone than it was meant to be.

-Will do. James said and walked away from the door to comfort Julia.
Chapter 14.
Julia sat on the plane. They had left before she had the chance to talk to Taylor. She knew she could call him, but she hadnt the guts to do it. At least not yet.
Shed call him when she got to London she thought.
But when she got there they had allot of unpacking to do.
So hours became days, and days became Weeks.
One day there was a knock on the door.
James went to open it and came back a few minutes later.
-Julia, I think its for you
-Ok she said and walked up to the door.
-Hey Taylor said and gave her a little smile.
-Hey she said and looked down on the ground.
-You could have called Taylor said and took a step closer to her and took her hand.
-I know, I was a cowered
-Do you forgive me he? asked.
Julia couldnt help but to smile. -If you forgive me?
-for what? It was my fault we had that fight
-You know, for moving to fast that night. But if you wanted to wait you could have said so. Julia said and looked straight at him.
I didnt want to wait, I wanted it just as much as you did, if not more. he said and put his arms around her.
-You know something? Taylor asked
-No, what?
-I think I love you. he said and kissed her.
-I love you to. Julia said and kissed him back.
