Hey Jude.

Chapter 1.

Jude, or U, as she was known as to her friends, walked through her apartment in New York. She was al alone. Her roommate, Sarah, had gone of to Spain for the holidays and weren't expected to be home until after the new year. -Why the hell did I move here she said out loud.
She didn't know that many people yet, she had just moved to NY from London, in hopes of becoming an singer. She was naturally a very shy girl, but here she had made a new beginning and when she moved she had promised herself to take more chances. It had worked so far.
She had joined a band quite recently, but knew they we're all gonna be great friends. Her and Sarah had even gotten an apartment together. Sarah was the guitar player and she was really talented, and then there was Mark on the drums, who also were quite good. And last but not least, Jude on vocals and bass.

She picked up the phone in hopes that Marie, a girl she knew from work was at home.
-Harrison a voice answered on the other end.
-Hi, this is Jude. May I speak to Marie please?
-Just a minute the voice said and hung up the phone.
A few seconds later Marie picked it up.
-Hello
-Hi, it's Jude, what's up?
-Oh, nothing, just watching some TV, and you?
-Im bored to my bones, would you like to grab a coffee or something?
-Yeah, sure. I'll pick you up in 5, Ok?
-See you then, bye

Finally something to do. She and Marie worked as waitresses at the same restaurant, and had become quite close.
A few minutes later she herd a car horn from the parking lot outside her building and grabbed her jacked and ran downstairs.

-Hello darling Marie said in an fake English accent.
-Yo homie Jude said trying to sound as American as she could.
They both laughed and Marie drove of.
-I thought we'd try the new place up on Manhattan? Marie said.
-Sure anything as long as it's not expensive
-It might be, it was my dad who recommended itŠ..Before I stole his Visa card. So everythings on him
-Your crazy, what if he finds out?
-Dont worry about it, he works on Wall Street, remember?. he's got enough of money already
They both laughed as they parked the car outside of the new cafe.

Chapter 2.

-Lets try something new and exotic Marie said
-I dont even know what exotic is, Im from England, remember? All we have is drunk blokes and fog.
-Yeah right, now I remember Marie said and started laughing.
That girl could laugh at anything. It made her very easy to talk to.
-Hey Jude Marie said. She always called her after that Beatles song, Witch her mother actually had named her after.
-What? Jude answered.
-What do you say we skip the coffee and head straight for desert. Meaning beer?
-Anything you say, baby. Jude said -Two pints please
-What? The bartender said
-Oh excuse my English friend. Two beers Please Marie shouted from the table she had chosen next to the window.

-So how's the songwriting going? Marie asked. She wasn't that interested in music, but she knew Jude loved it more than anything, so she decided to humor her a little.
-You really want to know?
-Yeah, what the hell, we dont have anything ells to talk about, do we?
-Well ok, I have the worst writers block right now. I feel as if I dont have anything to say.
-You need some sheering up thats all. -Lets go to a party tonight. I have this friend who's got a friend who's got a New Years party tonight. What do you say?
-Sure, anything. Im as bored as possible.
They finished there beers and were on there way over to Maries house to get changed.

-Holy shit, this house is huge. Are you sure only you and your dad live here? There could be five other families in this house and you wouldnt even notice Jude said when she laid eyes on the gigantic house.



Chapter 3.

Jude was going through Maries closet when Marie entered the room carrying something.
-Here comes the before party she said and handed Julia a pink drink with an umbrella in it.
-Yeayh. Jude said and gladly excepted the drink.
-So did you find something nice to wear? Marie asked her and started to throw clothes and other things across the room.
-Maybe, but you have to say what you think
Jude walked in to her walk in closet and came back out a few minutes later -good enough? She said and swirled around.
She was wearing a short black skirt with black leggings up to her thighs, a shamelessly tight Pearl Jam T-shirt and topped everything off with a pair of black army boots.

-Perfect, you look like the rock queen you are. I think I'll wear my black knee long skirt and an long-sleeved pink sweater. To match the drinks of course. Marie said and laughed her contagious laugh, making Jude join her. Soon they were rolling around on the floor not knowing what they laughed about to begin with.

-I called my friend and he said that the party starts at 9 o clock, so we better hurry getting ready if we want to make it. Marie said picking out a necklace to wear.

Jude sat in front of the mirror looking at herself, Marie had given her a total makeover. Her long blonde hair had curls in the bottom, she had framed her dark blue eyes with a black eyeliner, witch made her eyes look a lot bigger than they usually looked, Some mascara and tipped it all of with some blucher that made her look more life like according to Marie.
-Awhh, you look like a doll, so beautiful. Im really good at this, dont you think? Marie said
-Yes, I have to admit it, this looks nothing like me.
-Well, Im not enrolled in beauty school for nothing She said and walked away to get herself ready.


Chapter 4.

Already a late for the party they stepped out of the car.
-Oh my god, yet another gigantic house. Dont you know any normal people? Jude asked Marie.
-Im gonna remind you of that when you make it big and live in an even bigger house Marie said to her as they walked through the door.
There must have been about 500 people there. Everybody having the time of there lifes.
-I'll be right back, I just got to find my friend and introduce you to him. Marie said and walked away leaving Jude all by herself.
-Great, alone in a house were I dont know a soul. She made her way through the crown and found a sofa to sit in while she waited.
-Hi, Im Zac A guy next to her said -I havent seen you before, let me guess, your from California right?
-Actually, Im from England Jude said. -Is this your party?
-No, Im just here with my brother. I dont know a soul here The guy said and shook her hand. -I didnt get your name
-Oh, sorry, Jude. You know, like the Beatles song. Hey Jude hm hm hm hm Jude said and started to hum the song.
-Yeah I know, great song the guy laughed.

-Hey Jude Marie called out. -There you are she said as she walked over to her with two guys. -Id like you to meet my friend Jude she said and pointed at her.
-Hey Jude answered and shook the two guys hands.
-This is my Friend Ben, witch I told you about, and this is Taylor, another one of my friends, witch I dont see as much as Id like to Marie said and pinched Taylors arm.
Taylor looked at Jude -I like your eyes he said.
-What? Jude said a little surprised about the comment.
-You have the most incredible eyes He said and immediately blushed when he realized what he had just said.
-Thank you Jude said and laughed. -I like yours to
-Can I get you a drink or something? Taylor said trying to change the subject. -Ok, a beer will be fine Jude said and took her seat again next to Zac. -Hey, get me one to Zac yelled after Taylor when he left.
-Your to young was his reply. Zac sighed and looked over at Jude.
-He's impossible sometimes
-You guys know etch other? She asked.
-Yes, were brothers. But I sincerely doubt were from the same parents Zac said and all of the laughed.


Chapter 5.

-Jude, bathroom.NOW Marie said and grabbed her hand and pulled her away from hers and Zacs conversation.
-Nice to meet you She shouted out to him before they rounded a corner.

-So, what do you think about Taylor?, he seems to like you
-I just met him, I wouldnt know Jude answered and laughed at her friends enthusiasm.
-Wouldnt it be great if you guys started dating? Then you could double date with me and Ben
-Are you guys dating? Why didnt you tell me? Jude said.
-Well, we arent, but I think he's gonna ask me out tonight. At least I hope he will. Marie said with even bigger enthusiasm.


-We're did she go? Taylor asked Zac -You didnt scare her of did you?
-NO, she and Marie went to the bathroom. Why do girls do that?
Zac asked his brother hoping for an answer.
-I have absolutely no idea? He said and took a seat next to Zac.
-Hey, do you think I should ask Marie out? Ben asked them as he also took a seat.
-Yeah why not? Shes pretty Taylor said.
-But what if she says no?
-She wont, she all over you 24-7. I bet she's been waiting for you to

-Hey again Marie said and took a seat next to Ben.
-Hey he said and offered her some of his drink. -Look, Ive been meaning to ask you something. Would you like to go out some time? Like to a movie or something? He asked with a nervous voice.
-Id love to Marie said and gave him a hug.
-Then we can double date with Taylor and Jude
-What? Jude said, and coughed.
Taylor just laughed. -Dont worry about it, they do this all the time.
-Oh, Jude said and calmed down a little. But still she was a little disappointed that Taylor hadnt asked her out. There he was, offering her drinks and everything, and didnt take the opportunity when it fell straight into his lap.


Chapter 6.

-I should have asked her out right then, but now its to late. I cant go up to her now. Taylor said to Zac as they were standing next to the door ready to leave. -Oh, I didnt even know you were interested Zac said -But now that I know, It was very stupid of you not to ask her out.
-Hey Marie! Taylor shouted.
-NO, your leaving? Marie yelled running towards them.
-Yeah, do you and Jude want to come back to our place?..For an after party I mean. Taylor asked hoping the answer would be yes.

-Um, I'll go ask Jude. Shes got to work tomorrow. Just wait a sec, ok?
Marie said and ran out in the crowd in search for Jude.

-So, what do you say? Up for an after party? Marie asked.
-Please, please, please, I bet Bens going.
-Sure, I can't stay that long though Jude said and took Maries hands
-You know about the birds and the bees right? she and tried to sound like Maries dad, making Marie laugh at her.
-I love it when you think you are my dad

-Ok guys, when are we leaving? Marie asked Taylor.
-Right now he said and grabbed Judes hand pulling her with him out to their car. -I think its best if you ride with us. You never know what those two get up to in the car he said and smiled at her.
-Ok, what ever you say Jude giggled and jumped into his car, and they left.
-HEY Zac yelled -What about me?
-I cant believe he forgot me He said again and turned around to face Marie and Ben.
-Dont worry, you can ride with us Ben said and Jumped into Maries car.

_________________At Taylors place____________

-Nice place you got here Jude said while she looked around.
-Thanks, but we've just rented it while we record the new album
-What?, your in a band? Jude asked
-Didnt you recognize us? Taylor asked a bit surprised -Taylor Hanson?, Zac Hanson?.Ike?...Nothing?
-Your Hanson? Why didnt you tell me? She asked
-I thought Marie told you?, but guess not.. Anyway, does it matter?
-No, off course not. Jude said and took a seat in a sofa that looked very expensive. -Whats taking the others so long? she said.
-I told you, poor Zac. Taylor said laughing.
-You made him ride with them?
-Yeah, why?
-And Maries my ride home. Great. Im gonna be late for work tomorrow Jude said.
-Dont worry about it, I'll give you a ride home if they dont show.


-Should we leave them alone for a while? Ben asked as they turned out from the party.
-Yeah, Zac said. -Taylor was a little pissed that he hadnt asked her out earlier
-Ok, then, let's go for burgers Marie said smiling. Jude was going to kill her for this.


Chapter 7

-What time is it?
-Its 2,30 Taylor said -Do you need a lift home?
-Oh, you dont have to Jude said and went for her jacket.
-Do you really think Im gonna let you walk home ALONE in NYC at 2,30 in the morning? Taylor said and looked at her.
-Its not like I haven't done it before Jude said and walked towards the door.
-Theres not a chance in Hell Im gonna let you walk He said and went for his car keys.
-Well,,,, ok. But I'll pay for the gas.
-Give it up. Im gonna give you a ride home, follow you to your door, say good night. And then I'll leave. He said laughing.
-What ever makes you happy Jude said and smiled.

-Here it is Jude said and pointed at her building.
-Ok Taylor said and parked the car, 'I'll follow you up to see if everythings ok
-You dont have to. I'll be fine
-I insist He said and smiled.
-Ok, just dont forget to lock your car

-See, I told you everything was ok Jude said and pointed at her door.
-ok, Then I'll leave. Taylor said and looked into her eyes.
Should I kiss her? He thought. No, I havent even asked her out yet. It wouldnt be right.
-I'll see you around Jude said and gave him a hug. -Thanks for the ride and then she walked through the door and closed it behind her.

_________________The next morning________________

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP the alarm shouted.
-Awhh Jude sighed and crawled out of bed. She hurried into the bathroom and took a shower. When she finished she walked out to her dresser and picked out her work clothes. It was a black skirt and black top with white letters on it witch read "Kennedy".. The name of the restaurant she worked at. He put it on and went over to her mirror and put her hair up in a ponytail. -Sliced, Diced and ready to go she said and walked through the door and locked it after her.

-Your late the manager said as soon as she walked through the door.
-If the waitresses aren't her, how can the customers get their food. And if the customers dont get their food, how can we make money?. You know our policy. Late equals overtime.

-No, please. Jude said in hopes that he would change his mind.
-Sorry Now, get to work.
Jude sighed and went in the back to prepare this day's special.


Chapter 8

Taylor walked up to the front door of Kennedys. -I'll just go in there, Order a coffee and ask her out He said to himself. -It doesn't have to be harder then that He said out loud.
-What? Jude asked.
-Oh, I didn't see you.
-So, what are you doing here? she asked, hoping for an better answer this time.
-I just thought Id try the coffee, Ive heard they've got the best coffee in town He laid.
-You've obviously been laid to. Try Barrys down the road. Their coffee is great
-So, what are you up to? He asked.
-Just finished for today
-Care to join me for coffee? Taylor asked
-..Ok.

-So, what do you do on your spear time? Taylor asked.
-Well, actually Im in a band Jude said and laughed.
-Really. Let me guess. Your the singer, right?
-Yeah, how'd you know?
-You just look like the type, thats all
-And what does that type look like? Jude said, this time laughing even harder.
-Beautiful Taylor said and looked into her eyes.
-Oh
-Look, would you like to go out sometime?
-I think Id enjoy that
-Great, what about tonight?.At seven?
-Suits me Jude said and smiled.

Later that night Jude was going crazy over what to wear.
She had tried three outfits already and couldn't decide.
-Ah, what the fuck, its me he's going out with, not my clothes she said and walked over to her closet and picked out a pair of blue jeans and a little pink T-shirt and sat down on the sofa and waited. A few minutes Taylor buzzed.
I'll be right down she said and ran down the stairs.
-Hi she said and gave him a hug.
-Hi, you look nice he said and smiled. -So, where do you want to go?
-Anywhere, it doesn't matter
-How bout renting a movie and go back to my place? Taylor asked?
-Sure
When they got to Taylors place ran into Isaac at the door.
-Hey, he said. -What are you guys up to?
-We're just gonna watch a movie and order some pizza Taylor said.
-Great, mind if I join? Taylor gave him a cold look.
-Sure Jude said
-I thought it was going to be you and me? Taylor said when they put down the movies on a table. -We cant say no, that would be rude, wouldnt it?
-I guess your right.
